Supervision with Closer Horizons
Early-Career Psychologists & Mental Health Practitioners
We offer supervision for early-career professionals who are working toward licensure or expanding their clinical experience. Our focus is on supporting clinicians who provide assessments and mental health services for school-aged children, teens, and young adults navigating neurodiversity, ADHD, autism, learning differences, anxiety, and depression.
At Closer Horizons, supervision is collaborative and individualized. We intentionally integrate your developmental level, cultural lens, training background, and professional goals to co-create a plan that supports your growth while you work toward your state’s required supervision hours for licensure. Together, we’ll clarify objectives, track progress, and document hours in line with current regulations.
Supervision includes guidance on:
Evidence-based assessment and intervention practices
Running groups effectively and ethically
Case conceptualization and treatment planning
Strengths-based, family-friendly report writing
Building skills for partnering with parents, educators, and clients with diverse communication styles
Whether you’re in a school, private practice, or community setting, our integrative approach is designed to build confidence, deepen clinical insight, and strengthen the foundations you need for long-term success in the field.
